Another step closer...

... to Shelby leaving for college.

We attended her college orientation during the past two days, and now she's officially enrolled.

Orientation consisted of several seminars, lunch in the student union, dinner in town, and an over-night in the dorms. (Doggone it, the kids had the nice dorms, the parents had the old dorms!) Then this morning featured breakfast in the student union, and finally the big moment: the students enrolled in their classes.

She's excited.

I'm exhausted.

It's all good! :)

Wow... I can't believe it. When I came into the family Shelby was only 4 month old. As I ask Victoria.... Where is the baby? lol! I'm really a proud Auntie!!

It's great that Shelby has the confidence to leave the nest with excitement.

How odd it will feel for you as you adjust to her absence.

Ali - who is drawing ever closer to this moment herself.
